MOTH’s wreath-laying ceremony for Poppy Day
The Memorable Order of the Tin Hats held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Gondar Shellhole for Poppy Day.
Poppy Day, formally known as Remembrance Day, is a memorial day inaugurated by King George V after the First World War hostilities came to an end.
The name “Poppy Day” was derived from the world-renowned poem written by John McCrae, called In Flanders Fields.
MOTH members along with friends and family held a beautiful service in honour of their fallen brethren.
