According to Gugu Ncube, her husband, who is a sangoma, “was led by his ancestors to the foetus”.
The foetus was discovered at the back of a house, in a plastic bag.
She told www.mobserver.co.za that she thought the plastic bag contained raw meat, but after careful observation, they noticed a head and legs.
The gender of the foetus is unknown.
The foetus was removed from the scene by the state pathologists.
