NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS: Help find this man’s next of kin

The sad and lonely passing of an elderly gentleman has left the state mortuary seeking for his relatives.

The man identified himself to the Middelburg Provincial Hospital as Mr Lynn Hoffman. He claimed to be 63 and his date of birth was 22/10/1955.
He also stated before his passing that he had no family members or home.

The mortuary is hoping to track down any family members so that Mr Hoffman may have a dignified burial.

Mr Hoffman passed away yesterday evening in the care of the Middelburg Provincial Hospital, after an illness.

Anyone who may know him or his family members can contact Mr Aubrey Klee on 072 994 3710 or alternatively 013 249 3719.

• Though the photo may seem disturbing to some people, www.mobserver.co.za has chosen to publish it in the hopes of tracing relatives. It is not uncommon for vagrants to be dishonest about their identification, out of fear of being traced. A lack of identification has made it impossible to confirm his identity.
