Accident on N4 claims the life of one
After emergency services received information of a multi vehicle collision on the N4, it turned out that only a truck and a bakkie were involved.
The accident occurred yesterday evening between eMalahleni and the Middelburg toll plaza.
Traffic built up to such an extent that it was assumed more vehicles were involved.
A Mozambican truck was standing next to the side of the highway near the weighbridge when the bakkie rear-ended it.
Information was received that a woman was seated in front of the wheel of the truck at the time and she was killed by the impact.
Another man is said to be injured in the collision.
