Train strikes crossing pedestrian, man remains missing
Police officers, firefighters and Transnet officials searched for a man who was struck by a train this morning.
The train driver told the police that he saw a man attempting to cross the railway line behind the Nkangala District Municipality offices.
In a joint effort to find the man, the officials searched for him in the open fields however, they could not find any trace of him.

When Transnet officials examined the train they found red spots that looked like blood.
Transnet officials are visiting hospitals to look for the man.
