VIDEO: Security reaction officer testifies in church over near death ambush by gang of robbers

Titon Security reaction officer Mr Ian Smith rendered an emotional testimony about his near death experience when more than 15 heavily armed robbers opened fire on him with AK47's, R5 and R4 assault rifles during a brazen break-in at Palazzo Jewelers on April 29.

Mr Smith reacted to the alarm at the store around 01:00 the morning.

While approaching the store from the back, the lookouts immediately started shooting at him.
His bakkie was struck more than ten times.

He testified that “angels” protected him, after seeing some anomalies on the video footage of the shooting.

A deeply religious Mr Smith says he has a lot of work ahead of him, now that God had chosen him to do His work.
