Fofo Boy Makua (55), the owner of Foto Security, made his first court appearance at the Middelburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday after his arrest.
The Middelburg Hawks Serious Commercial Crime Investigating Unit arrested him on charges of fraud and money laundering.

Lucy Dineo Sekgotodi from the Hawks, said Mr Makua and his co-accused Annica van Staden, are being accused of selling RDP houses without owners’ consent.

Mr Makua and Miss Van Staden will appear in court on May 11 for a formal bail application. They are both currently in custody.
