Truck found, load gone
The white MAN side tipper that was hijacked with a 3 5000kg load of coal just outside Middelburg in the early hours of Sunday, October 30, has been found in Tasbet Park (eMalahleni).
The horse and trailers have been found, but the load was offloaded and is still missing.
According to Mr Anthony Boucher (from SA Investigations and Security) the tracker showed that the truck came from Clewer near eMalahleni and the tracker was updated in Tasbet Park.
It was found on the pavement at Bariton Street in a residential area. The tracking unit was still in it.

Mr Boucher mentioned that the registration number was already changed when it was found, but the original licence disk was still on the windscreen, “More success will be achieved with similar cases when private and public law enforcement agencies are willing to collaborate and join efforts in crime fighting. SA Investigations and Security is currently working on forming stronger bonds with other local private security companies.”
Mr Boucher said that they have recently partnered up with several agencies and the results are already starting to show, “Business is business, but in the end, we need to realise that we are stronger together and we all have the same goal, and that is building a safer community!”
The investigation into finding the individuals responsible is still ongoing and if anyone has information about the hijacking or the load, they can contact Mr Boucher on 064 534 5853 or send an email to info@rsainvestigate.com.
