Kidnapped young woman found safe, 15-year-old boy still missing

Search continues for Luzuko.

Aphumelele Nama (24) is safe at home, but 15-year-old Luzuko Mbisi is still missing.

Mr Anthony Boucher (SA Investigations and Security, based in Middelburg), who is helping with the case, confirmed late last night that Aphumelele is safe and sound at home. The exact circumstances of how she was found are not known at this stage.

Luzuko and Aphumelele were abducted during a house robbery in Piet Retief on Sunday night.
The robbers collected the ATM cards from the family and forced them to write down the pin codes of the cards.

After the robbery, the robbers forced Luzuko and Aphumelele into a white Golf 7 GTI (registration number JCG 041 MP) and fled the scene.

Mr Boucher said yesterday that the kidnappers have been using Luzuko to call some of his family members to ask them to transfer money to the bank account of Aphumelele. Threats have been made that Luzuko will be harmed if the family does not comply.

The robbers fled the scene in a white Golf 7 GTI (registration number JCG 041 MP).
