Thunderstorms heading our way

Lightning is set to strike twice, as thunderstorms are expected to return to town this afternoon and evening.

According to AccuWeather, there is a 42 per cent probability of thunder rolling into Middelburg.

It is advised that residents take the advice of Bob Dylan and seek Shelter from the Storm, as just yesterday Ms Mariana van den Bergh was struck by lightning in her home.
Fortunately, she survived, telling the Observer, “It is by the grace of God that I am still standing here!”
