Three dogs poisoned with Temik

The lethal pesticide Temik (Two-Step) was used to poison three dogs, two of which died.

Community Safety groups are warning residents to remain vigilant after a Boer bull and two dappled Dachshunds were poisoned during the night in Clubville.

It was confirmed that the Boer bull could be rescued but that the two dappled Dachshunds died and that autopsy results revealed the lethal Two-Step as the cause of death.

The community safety group warned that thieves could potentially be targeting the area and that residents, particularly owners of motorcycles should be on high alert.

• The warning comes after numerous dog poisoning incidents have been linked to thefts of motorcycles.
