Protea Street cleared after accident

Protea Street has been cleared after a serious accident that happened earlier this afternoon.

The accident involved a bakkie pulling a trailer and boat, coming from the Loskop Dam direction, and another vehicle coming from the CBD.

The vehicle from the CBD hit the bakkie, which was turning right into Protea Street towards Mhluzi.

The woman was removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital while the road was being cleared and opened for traffic.
