The Derby has begun, with the battle of between red and green is set to continue throughout the week.

The Hoërskool Middelburg and HTS Middelburg Derby has officially begun, with the schools’ golf sides teeing the rivalry off at the Middelburg Country Club this morning.

The Derby will be extensively covered in this week’s copy of the Middelburg Observer, and on our website.

Tomorrow afternoon will see the schools collide on the chessboard, with the B-Team hockey games to take place on Wednesday.

Thursday will play host to the shooting event, with the A-Team boys hockey and tennis to round things off on Friday.
