Home Affairs extends office hours

The Middelburg Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has extended its office hours.

Those looking to collect documents and apply for other services can now do so on Saturdays for a limited time only.

The DHA will offer applications and collections of IDs, as well as applications for Temporary Identification Certificates (TIC) and other services.

The documents will enable eligible voters to vote in the upcoming national elections.

Residents can also schedule collection appointments before visiting the DHA offices through the branch.

The department’s regular office hours are from 08:00 to 16:00, and the extended hours on Saturdays are from 08:00 to 12:30 until the elections come to an end.
