Another accident on misty N12

This is the third accident to take place on the N12 this morning.

A third accident has taken place on the N12, following two serious accidents earlier this morning.

Louwtjie Swart of Van Wettens and the Traffic Alert WhatsApp group, is now headed to a third accident scene involving trucks on this morning’s misty road.

This follows two accidents that occurred mere kilometers apart earlier this morning.

According to Gert Venter, an eyewitness at the earlier incident, at least eight to nine vehicles were involved, if not more.

TRAC N4 have closed the N4/N12 split.

According to Mr Swart’s knowledge, no deaths have been reported in the previous two scenes, but serious injuries have taken place.

• At 09:15, Mr Swart urged drivers to proceed with caution, as the road is still covered in heavy mist.
