We’re entering a long weekend and traffic is currently backed up at both the Middelburg and Machadodorp toll plazas.

Traffic flow has reached its peak towards the Lowveld as the long weekend kicks off.

TRAC has warned of delays at both Middelburg and the Machadodorp toll plazas with traffic currently backed up at both.

Motorists have been urged to ease into the holiday weekend by lifting the foot from the speed pedals, and arrive alive at their destinations.
