Traffic merge in ascending Kranspoort lanes due to sticky spill

A lost load of oranges in the south-bound lanes of Kranspoort has resulted traffic merging into one lane.

It was reported on WhatsApp groups that the squashed oranges are causing heavy motor vehicles to slip in their ascent of the pass. Trucks are avoiding the left hand lane towards Middelburg, which is causing a build-up in traffic.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
