SAPS mainframe offline nationwide

The South African Police Service mainframe system is down nationwide after parts were allegedly stolen in Pretoria.

The police can’t make or receive calls, nor can they access the computer system.

The Middelburg Observer received numerous complaints from residents who can’t reach the police station.

• Residents with complaints are urged to go to the station in person to make complaints or contact the Middelburg Police Station on their standby number on 082 923 0053.
