Traffic Alert: R35 Bethal closed by multi-vehicle collision

A collision between multiple vehicles on the R35 has resulted the temporary closure of the road causing a build up in traffic.

According to Louwtjie Swart from Traffic Alert, the collision involved a truck, VW Polo and a Nissan NP 200. No serious injuries were reported but the vehicles have sustained serious damages.

The accident scene is located on the R35 between Middelburg and Bethal, shortly before SG Coal.

Traffic was diverted to the shoulder of the road.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays due to road closure.
