Early morning collisions has emergency services tied up

Collisions continue on roads in and around Middelburg

Two collisions have been reported since sunrise with one involving entrapments and serious injury.

According to David Ross of Ross Towing the serious collision occurred on the R555 close to Wolma poultry farm past the weighbridge on the Stoffberg-road.

The N11 scene.

Emergency services are currently making their way to the scene.

Another collision involving a truck and one car took place around the same time on the N11, Hendrina-road.

Yesterday’s N4 scene.

Yesterday, traffic was backed up for kilometers on the N4 after multiple collisions, once involving more than five vehicles.

Multiple people were injured in the mutli-vehicle pileup.
