The left-hand lane of Samora Machel turning onto Cowen Ntuli Street is closed, with municipal employees repairing electrical wires underneath the concrete.

A municipal employee told the Observer that the wires had been faulty for a few weeks, and had been affecting power in the area.

The workers are diligently doing their jobs to ensure that regular traffic flow will soon be restored.
