Senior officials to visit school where learners tragically lost their lives

High ranking government officials will visit the school and site of the accident today.

The Mpumalanga MEC of Education and the MEC of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison will today visit the site where five learners from Morelig Combined School died yesterday afternoon, when their school bus was struck by a train.

Both MECs released press statements.

The MEC of Education, Landulile Catherine Dlamini, will be visiting the school, while the MEC of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison will visit the scene where the crash happened.
