Video: Local photographer shows photos of moon and Venus

A well known photographer took excellent photos of the moon last night and tonight.

Patrick Lightfoot; had his eyes and camera lens on the moon last night and tonight!

Lightfoot took a photo last night where you could clearly see the moon with Venus right next to it. He said it is called the ‘waxing crescent moon, 15% illuminated fraction, with the planet, Venus, below.

Tonight he also took photos and a video, waiting to see the planet Saturn. “I think Saturn was too far, it was not visible from our side of the earth.”
