A man on crutches was hit by a taxi while crossing the street.

Mr Sarel Vilakazi suffered a serious leg injury.

A man was seriously injured today after being hit by a taxi while crossing SADC Street in the CBD.

Mr. Sarel Vilakazi, who was using crutches, was struck at around 15:00 and appeared to suffer a serious leg injury.

Emergency services transported him to hospital for treatment.
