Video: Community mourns DJ Dosline
DJ Dosline was remembered as a born entertainer and community pillar, with mourners gathering to honour his lasting impact on hearts and dance floors alike.
Big groups of friends, bikers, and supporters gathered yesterday at the family home of the late Takalani Mkansi, known to many as DJ Dosline, in Chromeville.
The beloved entertainer tragically passed away on Saturday after being struck by a car while changing a tyre outside Middelburg.
His uncle, former executive mayor Mike Masina, described Dosline as a lively, humble, and uplifting figure who never forgot his roots, “He had a way of making people laugh and lifting their spirits, even on their darkest days,” Mike said.
Dosline built his career through his own determination and talent, filling venues without relying on big sponsors or government support, “His name alone could pack a venue,” Mike recalled proudly.
In recent years, Dosline also became known for sharing messages of faith and positivity, reminding his followers of the importance of family, community, and belief in God.
