Titon Security issues warning after two Aerorand homes burgled in same street

Picky rooftop burglars leave behind long guns, only take handguns

Titon Security warns that a new trend in housebreaking has emerged in Aerorand, after two homes were burgled by thieves gaining access to both homes through their roofs.

The homes are situated three stands apart, with the latest burglary reported to have taken place last weekend between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The other occurred earlier this month.

In both instances, access to the homes was gained by lifting roof tiles and then breaking through the ceilings.

One of the safes.

Inside the roofs, the burglars meticulously disconnected alarm systems and freely moved throughout the homes without being detected.

They also dodged alarm sensors outside both homes.

In both instances, safes were also expertly opened.

And, in both instances, the burglars searched for handguns, leaving behind long guns.

Only one pistol was stolen at one of the homes, where the burglars even left behind an air pistol closely resembling a pistol.

Jewellery, and in one instance, a huge flatscreen TV, were also looted.
