Meluleki’s body found, tests confirm

Missing Belfast man’s body is identified.

A post-mortem examination that was made after the grim discovery of a man’s body that was found near Belfast on June 25, has been completed.

The body was discovered by children at the Old Madala Informal settlement, in a waterhole, close to a wetland.

DNA tests had to be conducted for identification as the body was found heavily decomposed beyond recognition.

After the tests were made, the results came back and proved that the body that was found was that of Meluleki Ncongwane (23).

Meluleki went missing on April 26 around 22:00 between Stoffberg and Belfast Fourways.

• Meluleki Ncongwane will be laid to rest tomorrow.
