Man’s body found in water, DNA must determine if it is Meluleki
A grim discovery near Belfast has added to a growing list of missing persons cases in the region.
The body of a man was found by children at Old Madala Informal Settlement, next to Belfast, at around 14:00 last Friday.
The body could possibly be Meluleki Ndumiso Ncongwane (23), who went missing on April 26. He disappeared at around 22:00 between Stoffberg and Belfast Fourways.
According to the information, the body, which was heavily decomposed, was found in water, close to a wetland. A post-mortem examination was conducted this week. Furthermore DNA tests will be conducted to identify if the body is that of Meluleki.
