Did mob justice lead to murder?

He had deep cuts and bruises on his upper body.

No arrests have been made in the case of Ntokozo Manqoba Mtsweni (27), who was found dead in his room at his grandmother’s house in Plein section in Mhluzi on July 23.
Two constables patrolling that evening were called at around 21:00 and rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found Ntokozo Vilakazi, Ntokozo’s father, who showed them where his son’s body was found face down on his bed.
Paramedics pronounced Ntokozo dead when they arrived at the scene.
A family member questioned a person of interest to find out what had happened. The person allegedly admitted that he was told Ntokozo wanted to break into his house, so he tied him up.
• The provincial spokesperson of the police, Lieutenant-Colonel Jabu Ndubane, confirmed that nobody had been arrested ‘in this mob-justice incident’ yet.
