R10 000 for information that leads to conviction of farm attackers

A R10 000 reward is being offered for information that will lead to the conviction of two robbers who attacked a teacher on a farm.

Wilma Maartens (a teacher from Laerskool Roossenekal) was attacked on their farm, Gelukspoort, near Roossenekal, on September 17 at around 17:00.

She was attacked outside their house and dragged inside the home.

Wilma was tied up, and the robbers got away with cash, Bushnell binoculars, a laptop and a Samsung A32 cellphone.

Sakkie Lourens (Bosveld Misdaadondersoeke – BMO) confirmed that BMO is offering the reward. He also said that information will be handled confidentially.
