Middelburg community steps out ‘barefoot for cancer’

More than 180 people joined the Barefoot for Cancer walk at Tarries Park, showing their compassion for those living with and recovering from cancer.

Tarrie’s Park turned pink and full of spirit on Saturday as 181 walkers took part in this year’s Barefoot for Cancer event, an initiative started by Naomi Steenkamp, Middelburg’s ambassador for the cause.
