A driver is reportedly hiding near the N4 after his vehicle hit spikes just past KG Mall, eMalahleni.

A spiking incident was reported a short while ago on the N4, just past KG Mall in eMalahleni, according to messages shared on the WhatsApp group: “Spikings Alzu to N4/N12 Petroport.”

After driving over the spikes, the driver reportedly stopped, jumped out of the vehicle, and ran away. According to updates shared on the group, the man is still hiding nearby and too afraid to return to his car.

  • The ‘Spikings Alzu to N4/N12 Petroport’ initiative was launched more than a year ago by Arthur Hill of the Dagpatrollie group in Middelburg to keep people updated about the spikings on the N4 and N12.
