Temporary traffic interruption scheduled on R35 near King Nyabela

Traffic on the R35 near the King Nyabela Hospital will be temporarily interrupted tomorrow from 10:00 until 13:00.

The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality has announced that a temporary traffic interruption will take place on the R35 next to the new hospital (King Nyabela Hospital) tomorrow January 10, from 10:00 to 13:00.

The interruption is necessary to allow for the installation of overhead cables for a new power line from the Aerorand Substation to the Vaalbank Water Treatment Works (WTW).

Traffic officers will be on site to assist with traffic control and to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel during the operation.

Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes via Summer Street and Autumn Street during the affected period.

Road users are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for potential delays.

The municipality has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
