Cooler weather settles over Middelburg, but summer heat returns by midweek

Middelburg residents can look forward to three refreshing cooler days before temperatures begin climbing again from Wednesday onward.

Middelburg residents are finally getting some relief from the heat as cooler conditions settle over the town for the next few days, offering a welcome break after weeks of high temperatures.

Sunday (today) offers the biggest drop, with a chilly minimum of 13°C and a maximum of just 18°C. Cloudy skies, a slight 10% chance of rain, and strong winds of around 24 km/h will keep the day feeling brisk.

Monday warms slightly but remains pleasant. Temperatures will range from 11°C to 23°C under partly cloudy skies, while winds of about 23 km/h continue to sweep through the area.

Partly cloudy weather continues into Tuesday, with a minimum of 12°C and a maximum of 24°C. The wind will ease to a mild 8 km/h.

From Wednesday, however, the familiar summer heat begins to return. Temperatures will climb from 15°C in the morning to 26°C later in the day, with light winds of 10 km/h.

Thursday is expected to bring a minimum of 17°C and a maximum of 26°C, along with a 20% chance of rain and winds picking up to 13 km/h.

Friday will remain warm, with partly cloudy conditions and temperatures ranging between 16°C and 27°C. There is a 20% chance of rain, accompanied by a gentle 10 km/h breeze.
