Radsport race Saturday at Rooiwal

Cyclists can take on three different distances, and entries are still open.

The mecca of cycling in South Africa, Rooiwal, is once again rolling out the red carpet for cyclists on Saturday.
The Radsport 365 is presented at the popular cycling route.
Rooiwal is a fairly flat route with one hill that tests climbers. The rest is flat with a very long downhill.

Fun family outing

Dirk van der Merwe and Eduan Prinsloo from Pretoria Cycling and Racing Club always go to great lengths to make it a fun family outing for cyclists.
The start is at 07:00 at the Hervormde Kerk Waterval, and entries can still be made from 05:00.

Rooiwal is just beyond Pretoria, in the direction of Polokwane, and is easily accessible via the N1, with a short turn-off into the rural area.
Every participant who finishes receives a medal, and it also serves as a seeding race for Ride Joburg.

Starting times

26km – Start: 07:30; cost R210.
52km – Start: 07:20; cost R280.
92km – Start: 07:00; cost R330.
There will be another race at Rooiwal on May 9.
