Inter-Religious Movement will support uMkhonto Wesizwe Party

The event will take place tomorrow at the Witbank Civic Theatre.

The Mpumalanga Inter-Religious Movement announced the launch of a provincial
structure that will canvass for the uMkhonto Wesizwe Party (MKP) in the coming local government elections.

The structure will band together various religious denominations from across
the province under the umbrella of the uMkhonto Wesizwe Party (MKP).

The launch seeks to strengthen cooperation between religious communities and political stakeholders to advance social cohesion, moral regeneration, community development, and nation-building in Mpumalanga.

The event marks a significant milestone in creating a united platform where faith-based institutions and
political structures can engage collaboratively on matters affecting communities, promote peace, and
contribute towards the socio-economic and spiritual well-being of the people of the province.

Mr Jacob Zuma’s attendance could not be confirmed, with organisers saying Duduzane Zumo had RSVP’d.
