WATCH: One dead in fiery N12 chain-collision

Death confirmed in N12 inferno.

One person have been confirmed dead following this morning’s crashes on the N12.

The route is currently still closed for traffic.

Three trucks and four vehicles were involved in two separate accidents on the N12.

Emergency services have meanwhile arrived on the N12 where a tanker exploded following a multi vehicle pile-up earlier this morning.

The entire N12 is currently still shrouded in a blanket of thick mist, resulting in the crashes.

There are currently two crash sites on the N12.

The route has been closed from both directions until further notice.
