SAPS appeal to the public in manhunt for Middelburg hijacking suspects
Dashcam footage shows two suspects police want to talk to in connection of delivery truck hijacking.
Dashcam footage shows two suspects connected to an alleged hijacking and robbery of a delivery truck on the old Delmas Road police say.
Middelburg police are appealing to residents to help identify and trace two men in connection with the alleged hijacking.
The incident happened at around 08:15 on June 9 while the driver was out making deliveries.
According to W/O Nonhlanhla Mdluli, the driver was stopped and robbed before parcels worth about R55 000 were stolen.
As part of the investigation, SAPS has released still images and dashcam footage of the two men police are trying to trace.
The footage, supplied by an anonymous source, is being published with SAPS’ permission in the hope that someone will recognise the suspects.
