Five star performance by Nkangala

Nkangala Athletic Academy set their 2015 pace with an excellent performance at the Shanduka 5-in-1 Marathon.

The club performed admirably by winning a prize in each of the five categories.

• 10km junior men: 1. Ben Mahlangu. 2. Doctor Madalane. 3. Bongani Nkosi.

• 10km women: 1. Thobile Amon. 2. Thulisile Amon.

• 15km veteran: 1. George Mokwana. 2. John Sibeko.

•. 21.1km juniors: 2. Sifiso Molotiwa. Senior: Moses Mahlangu (second).

• 32km: 1. John Thipe. 2. Jabulani Khoza. 3. Tebogo Magabe.

• 42.2km: 2. Lucky Sithole.

The club is pleased to see the improvement that their juniors made, showing that their December training camp yielded positive results in preparing for September’s national cross country championships in Middelburg.

Emmanuel “Shaper” Mabaso is also trying to improve the academic performance of the members.
