Joost van der Westhuizen Memorial at Loftus

The memorial service of former Vodacom Bulls and Springbok scrumhalf, Joost van der Westhuizen, will be held at Loftus Versfeld on Friday 10 February 2017, starting at 12:30.

Following a private ceremony for the close family and loved ones earlier on Friday morning, Van der Westhuizen’s casket will be escorted to Loftus Versfeld, the Blue Bulls official website reported.

The gates to the stadium will be opened to the public who wish to attend the ceromony paying respects to the legend.

The ceremony will include a host of guest speakers and diginitaries, and will also feature tributes by s selection of Joost’s favorite artists.

Guests are urged to arrive at the stadium early from 10:30 in order to ensure a smooth and diginified ceremony.
