Hoërskool Middelburg participated in the athletics meeting at Rob Ferreira in White River last Friday.

U/14: Liam Erasmus (discus), JP Janse van Rensburg (400m), Lokhanyo Mithi (100m hurdles), Lienke Korff (shot put).

U/15: Mogudi Phahlane (100m), Ryan Tessendorf (javelin).

U/16: Caelan Chetty (discus), Connor Janse van Rensburg (800m), Sinazo Mlibe (110m hurdles), Kgotso Peta (100m), Gift Senamela (1 500m and 3 000m),
Ashley Barnard (javelin), Elsabé de Klerk (discus), Monique van der Westhuizen (200m).

U/17: Kabelo Mtsuba (1 500m), Elzane de Vaal (discus), Megan Kruger (100m hurdles and 400m hurdles).

U/19: Janco Oosthuizen (1 500m) and Karli Engelbrecht (high jump).

• The athletes also brought 27 silver and 17 bronze medals home.
