Nicole’s eyes set on Miss Portugal crown
Nicole Goncalves (19) is one of the nine finalists competing for the title as Miss Republic of Portugal South Africa.
The Final event will be staged at the glamorous Carnival City in Brakpan, Gauteng on Saturday 19 July the finalists will share the stage with MI CASA and other entertainers. Tickets to the crowning of Miss Portugal SA is on sale and available at Computicket.
Nicole is a familiar face to Middelburg as she holds the title of Miss Mpumalanga Tourism Queen and she is a former Miss Teen Greater Middelburg. She is a student chef, doing her internship through Protea Hotel Highveld Centre (eMalahleni).
Nicole enjoys charity work extremely and is proud to be associated with Reach For a Dream Mpumalanga where she is one of the angels/volunteers under the watch full eye of her mentor, Andries Du Preez.
In between working, modelling and doing charity work, Nicole is driving up and down to Gauteng in preparation, rehearsals and commitments for the Miss Portugal South Africa Pageant
She enjoys the Miss Portugal SA Pageant tremendously. Not only does it hold great value as if she has to win the pageant in South Africa, she will represent her country “South Africa” at the Miss Portugal Pageant International. But representing her Portuguese heritage like the other eight other girls do as well makes her heart very proud! (the Miss Portugal South Africa competition is only for South African beauties coming from a Portuguese background or holds a Portuguese passport)
Nicole is the only finalist from Mpumalanga.
