Walk the Big Walk
The time has come to put your money where your mouth is. Participate in the Paul Mthimunye Big Walk and rest assured knowing that you are an active part of making it possible for someone promising to reach their potential.
The Paul Mthimunye Big Walk is a fundraising initiative for the Paul Mthimunye Bursary Fund. This fund, named after a well known and loved teacher, works to make it possible for promising students of secondary and tertiary level to obtain a degree or matric certificate.
The fund is currently supporting 70 high school learners and 21 tertiary students.
The Big Walk starts at 06:00 at the Temba Simelane Stadium. Participants get an hour to register whereafter the Big Walk will start at 07:00.
Tickets cost R30 and can be bought at Masipa Internet Cafe, Jefferson Fast Food in Extension 2, local schools in the Steve Tshwete district (including Hendrina), Mvelo Copy Shop (next to the old Shoprite) and Boggie Shop (Nashua).
