Hold onto your hats, folks. There are new sheriffs in town, and they go by the name of AmaPanyaza.

These highly-trained Crime Prevention Wardens (CPWs) have taken Midrand by storm, and the impact has been nothing short of incredible.

With their expert skills and unwavering commitment to keeping the community safe, these wardens have significantly boosted the Midrand Police Station’s crime prevention efforts.

The CPW initiative has been a resounding success since its launch last year by the provincial government.

Named after the esteemed Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, AmaPanyaza has been deployed throughout the province to tackle criminal activity head-on.

And now, after months of anticipation, Midrand has finally received its 24-strong team of AmaPanyaza on April 3.

These wardens are ready to take on any challenge and are determined to make Midrand a safer place to live.

The Midrand Police Station’s district police spokesperson Captain Jeff Phora is thrilled about the deployment of AmaPanyaza, and he is confident that they will be a game-changer in the fight against crime.
