According to police spokesperson Constable Matome Tlamela, the victim started to experience a headache at the party and she went upstairs to get some medication. “When she walked into the upstairs room she found a man she knew sitting on the bed and she tried to quickly exit the room. The suspect grabbed her and pulled her onto the bed. He then pulled off her clothes, held her arms down and proceeded to rape her,” said Tlamela.
She managed to kick the suspect and escape from the bedroom.
Tlamela said, “The suspect was arrested that same day and he will appear in court facing charges of rape.”
