Woman tied up with cellphone charger cord

NOORDWYK - On 3 September robbers broke into a house on Plane Street in Noordwyk.

They robbed the house of property valued at R47 000 including three plasma televisions, three cellphones and a DVD player.

Police spokesperson, Constable Matome Tlamela said, “The complainant said she had been in the kitchen when two men came into the room and pointed a firearm at her. The suspects tied up the woman’s hands and feet with the cord of a cellphone charger. They took the complainant’s property and left. When the complainant realised that the suspects had fled she crawled out of her house and screamed for help.”

Tlamela added, “No one has been arrested yet, as the police are still busy with investigations. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Midrand police.”
