Four suspects armed with a knife, pick and a side cutter broke into the house and assaulted the victims.
Constable Matome Tlamela said, “According to the complainant the suspect armed with a knife grabbed him and tied his hands together and pushed the victim to the floor. The complainant was ordered to lie down while two other suspects undressed his wife and raped her. After raping the woman two suspects took the man, covered his head with a jacket and took him to a room where two other victims had been tied up.”
He said the suspects stole a Corsa bakkie, cellphones, two laptops, a plasma TV, iPad and R1 700. “The suspects communicated with each other using Tsonga and Zulu. The suspects gained access through one of the windows in the house.”
