Celebrities bring big smiles
MIDRAND - Celebrities came to Vodaworld to show their support for KissaKia initiative on 9 November. Danny K, brand ambassador for Kia for the past three years, as well as Smile foundation, said he is excited to be part of an initiative that changes lives for the better.

“I have been to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital and seen seen children who have received corrective surgeries. I am happy to support this initiative that gives children hope.”
Musicians, Michael Lowman, Melissa Lane and Connell Cruise said they were there to support an initiative that gives children a chance to smile. Danny K, Lane and Lowman and Cruise signed T-shirts and caps for fans and kissed a Kia car to show support for the initiative.
Kia Motors New Car sales manager said, “I am pleased that the celebrities stopped by to show their support for our initiative.”
The initiative was begun by a group of young professionals, who work with new and used Kia cars, who wanted to give back to Smile Foundation. Members of the public had a chance to kiss a Kia car for as long as they could for a grand prize of R25 000.
Smile Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that gives children with facial anomalies much-needed facial surgery. Smile Foundation Executive director of finance and fundraising, Hedley Lewis said the foundation is “humbled by all the support and the KissaKia initiative”.
The initiative started on 25 October and will end on 25 November at Vodaworld.
