Three suspects, aged between 25 and 40, were arrested at the shop for being in possession of a car jamming device, along with two remote controls.
Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela said, “According to the complainant, a white BMW was looking suspicious with three male
occupants. The vehicle was stopped and searched by the police with the occupants [inside].” The jamming device and two remote controls were then found.
Tlamela said the suspects were unable to give a satisfactory explanation for being in possession of the device.
“All three suspects were immediately arrested,” said Tlamela.
