The suspect was caught at a house in Shamrock Street after a police tip off. Midrand police spokesperson Matome Tlamela said, “Upon arrival at the address where the suspect was, police searched the house and the suspect’s car. Twenty parcels containing cocaine were found. “During the arrest the suspect confessed to police that he sells drugs. The suspect tried to bribe
police with R4 000 so they can let him go free. Police did not accept the offer and the drugs and money have been handed in as evidence.” The suspect will
appear in court soon on charges of drug dealing and bribery.
